Whimsy emerged when studio photography

began moving into the outdoors, capturing

interactions that left us all in love with nature

and wanting more! As a former model,

mother and moments collector, the opportunity

to break out of the "pose" and capture the

essence of life, remains my inspiration. Twenty

years of images later, I still find myself inspired

to run to my camera.

I can't help but organize the environment during a Whimsy session. My position allows the main photographer to focus on the client. I can see what needs to happen and know when to pick up my camera to capture moments that would otherwise be lost to us. I enjoy meeting our clients and always look forward to seeing the finished product.
